Planning for the Future
From daycare to graduate school, I’ll work with you to develop a holistic plan that realizes your financial goals and values. I offer custom planning for daycare and preschool, private K-12, undergraduate college, and graduate schooling. Our detailed financial plan will include investing for future education, determining payment plans, taking advantage of employer education benefits and more.
Tuition and Student Loans
There are many different ways to pay for education; out-of-pocket, 529 accounts, dependent care FSAs, savings accounts, and taxable brokerage investments can all be good options depending on your financial standing and goals. I will work with you to map your financial and educational goals and then analyze the best options to create a roadmap for tuition payment.
Repayment
There can be unique opportunities to plan around repayment of federal student loans. Whether your objective is to reduce the monthly debt service, minimize interest paid over-time, or even to seek forgiveness of the loan, we can explore the options. Among other strategies, we can investigate programs like public service loan forgiveness (PSLF), taxable student loan forgiveness, income-based repayment plans, and refinancing of loans.
